As an Assembly & Test Tech (FAA) - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing components and systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on an Onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality assembly and testing processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble components and systems according to specifications and quality standards.

  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of assembled products to ensure functionality.

  • Document assembly and testing processes, maintaining accurate records for quality assurance.

FAA REQUIREMENTS

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in assembly and testing processes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve assembly issues.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints accurately.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting purposes.
