As a Principal Software Architect here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for acting as the subject matter expert by providing technical guidance, vision, and leadership on critical software development projects within HCI using tight collaboration with larger PA ecosystem. You will take ownership of technical solutions, drive innovation, drive technology road maps, ensure reuse and seamless integration and ensure the highest standards of quality and performance.

In this role, you will impact the strategic vision and execution of critical software development projects, shaping the technical direction of the organization, mentoring teams, and driving innovation to deliver world-class software solutions.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 15+ years of experience leading software Architecture for projects.

• Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.

• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges, providing creative and effective solutions.

• Expertise in software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leverage technical capabilities to lead design, development, and delivery of complex software projects using contemporary technology.

• Work with Business, Operations and Consultants to build / develop solutions for Oil and Gas vertical

• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Process Control System, Process Control networks and Solution architectures using HCI and third Party software in delivering high value solutions to Oil and Gas customers.

• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Alarms and Operations, Experion Control Systems and other MES applications.

• Conduct regular reviews, ensuring the production of robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Maximize reuse, Platform approach and quicker to market strategies,

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications for new and legacy products

• Develop and execute tool initiatives and migrations.

• Plan and execute application upgrades.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for new features.

• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
