As an Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies will ensure that the products developed under your leadership meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Brno location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the creation of innovative mechanical systems and components that enhance the performance and functionality of our products, ensuring they meet customer needs and industry standards. Products that the team mostly works on are electromechanical actuators for aircrafts. We support customers like Archer and Electra.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 7 or more years of experience in mechanical design and development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools, with experience in mechanical analysis and simulation tools.
• Experience with application of CAD or simulation tools on a real products (examples to be provided in interview).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of manufacturing processes.
• Proven experience with mechanical designs.
