Honeywell is seeking an experienced Senior Application Sales Engineer, to join our BMS UK Connected Solutions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting pre-sales activities and partnering with the Sellers. You will play a critical role in customer interactions, technical demonstrations, and acting as a technical expert for our Connected Solutions involving Forge, RBM (Remote Building Management), CEM (Carbon and Energy Manager), and PDM (Predictive Maintenance).
The BMS team delivers via the various channel partner networks, Trend in the UK being a key example
The successful candidate will be travelling across the North of UK and Ireland with some potential to support in the Nordics and Benelux region to engage with clients and partners as required.

Key skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Significant experience in a similar position, with a focus on Digital Maintenance, Energy Management software, and SaaS-based solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration with sales teams and customers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Trend, channel partner networks, BMS systems, and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences, along with an understanding of solution positioning versus product focus.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new customer relationships; Calling at all levels, including senior levels, of target customer organizations; engaging early in the customer buying process to discover customer needs Tridium and fulfil.
- Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to gather customer requirements, provide technical input for proposals, and assist in crafting solutions that address these needs.
- Customer Engagement: Present Honeywell's Connected Solutions in customer meetings to establish credibility and conduct technical demonstrations to highlight product features and benefits.
- Technical Expertise: Act as a technical lead with in-depth knowledge of Honeywell's Forge and Connected Solutions, staying updated on software updates and industry trends.
- Integration Solutions: Address integration issues between Honeywell and other manufacturers' technologies while supporting account managers and optimizing customer solutions.
- Order Management: Facilitate a smooth transition from sales to customer success by transferring booked orders to the Customer Success Manager for post-sales activities.
