• Software Engineer Elements – 12 months paid contract (Hybrid work)

Location: Gdansk, PL

We have an opportunity for a Intern Bachelors Software Eng to join us at Honeywell, in Gdansk, where you will be responsible for developing new and improving existing functionality of access control system expanding customer experience. This paid Internship is a part of our University Relations program, designed to help students launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This internship is set up for 12 months, starting from June/July 2026.

You will learn Elements project: cloud-based access control using the latest cloud technologies, best practices, industry-standard tools and team cooperation.

This is hybrid work 3+2! (3 days from office + 2 days from home).

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features and enhance existing functionality of the access control system to improve customer experience

• Apply basic full-stack web development skills, including React and Node.js, in day-to-day tasks

• Work with MongoDB for data management and perform log analytics to support feature improvements

• Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure reliable system operation

• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver end-to-end solutions across frontend and backend components

Qualifications:

• Undergoing or having finished a degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field

• Basic web development skills (full-stack), React, NodeJS, logs analytics, mongo DB

• English level: comfortable communicating in English in both written and spoken

• Naturally curious and a proactive problem solver, approaching tasks with a methodical and consistent mindset

• Well-organized and capable of managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and support team objectives

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook; quick to learn new software and systems
