As a Principal Network Architect here at Honeywell, you will lead the design and implementation of innovative network solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security across our global infrastructure. In this role, you will impact the strategic direction of our network architecture, ensuring that our systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry’s best practices. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the integrity and performance of our network infrastructure, enabling seamless connectivity for our operations.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8 or more years of experience in IT architecture planning, with proven expertise in architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with network management tools and technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud networking solutions.
- Expertise in network design, protocol analysis, cloud platforms, and security methodologies.
- Professional-level certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JCP).
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing, security, and data management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise-level network solutions.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CCIE certification is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing complex network projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning in networking technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and optimize network performance, security, and reliability, implementing best practices and industry standards.
- Work as a subject matter expert in IT architecture planning, providing valuable insights to our cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Collaborate closely with our IT architects and planners to define and execute IT architecture strategies that align with our business goals, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Support the planning and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, security, and compliance standards.
- Define a long run plan for data center networks, WAN/LAN, cloud networking, and security infrastructure.
- Design and implement Zero Trust architectures and advanced, secure, multi-vendor infrastructure.
- Drive adoption of modern networking technologies and infrastructure as a service
- Develop and enforce standards for network performance, scalability, and reliability.
