As an R&D Engineer Intern here at Honeywell, you will be part of a dynamic team contributing to cutting-edge research and development projects. You will play a important role in the design, development, and testing of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) systems for our customers. You will be responsible for driving innovation, shaping the future of technology, and addressing global challenges through your technical expertise.
You will report directly to our Research and Development Manager, and you’ll work out of our Brno, Czech Republic location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development of new technologies, contribute to project success, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting research and experiments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Contribute to the development of new technologies and solutions

Participate in brainstorming sessions

Support the documentation and reporting of project progress
You must have
-
Completed Bachelor's degree and studying Master program or Completed Master program (and PhD student) in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Applied Mathematics or Physics Science or related fields

Basic knowledge in Matlab or any other programming language (Python, or C/C++)

Background in one of the areas such as navigation, GPS/GNSS, signal processing, estimation algorithms

Minimum 0-2 years’ experience since graduating from university.

Minimum 0-2 years practical experience in industry and/or engineering science.

Good command of English language, comfortable to use it in daily interactions

Good communication skills (both written and oral)

Passion for Technology, Innovations and Aerospace, who wants to develop a career in this field

Experience in experimental analysis and data analysis

Knowledge of electronics or electronics design
