Lead, develop, and motivate engineering teams responsible for the design and development of Avionics software. You will inspire your team of high performing software engineers to collaborate across Honeywell Aero engineering teams and create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases of software development/model base development and driving Technical Solution improvement resulting in quality/Cost and cycle time improvements across Displays and graphics products/programs. Responsible for technical solution development (design & interface definition) in collaboration with Honeywell business partners.

• Expert in C & C++ programming

• Hands-on experience in model based development(MATLAB,SCADE)

• Hands-on experience in development of system requirements

• Good technical knowledge of Avionics Architectures/platforms

• Hands-on experience in system level testing, integration or sub-system benches

• Knowledge of any Configuration Management System such as DOORS, Bit Bucket, SVN etc would be an added advantage.

• Experience working in life cycle stages of Systems Life cycle & AGILE exposure.

• Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively; both verbally and written.

QUALIFICATION: BE/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech Experience

EXPERIENCE:Minimum 9 years of Work experience on Aerospace systems

• Responsible for technical solution development (design & interface definition) in collaboration with Honeywell business partners. Demonstrate thought leadership with focus on core architecture with increased reusability and drive reduction in reapplication cost across multiple programs

• Good Understanding of avionics design, product development and application as well system integration and certification.

• Development of systems and software requirements from Application Specifications.

• Development and execution of system test cases on the integration benches.

• Identifying and debugging issues at the system level and understanding interaction with other aircraft systems.

• Good troubleshooting skills to identify and fix issues arising from Applications/Flight testing.

• Active participation and contribution in driving sub systems/systems integration/simulation bench; ability to co-ordinate with diverse set of team.

• Should have an understanding of System engineering, standards and Certification (Includes DO-178B/C, ARP4754)
