Responsible for the design, engineering, validation, programming, and graphics for Building Management and Controls Systems (BMS) in accordance with the project specifications and time frame, engineering adopted codes and good engineering practices. Additionally,

People management skills further to rigid and proven experience in the same field is mandatory as you will be responsible for supervising single/multiple projects with technical guidance, quality checking, progress reporting, deliverables planning and utilization of the assigned project team within all BMS project cycle starting from solution design, solution compliance verification and engineering, risers design, wiring panels fabrication design, FDS documents, logic creation, T&C) as well as to ensure standard engineering process and quality management process implemented. You must have:

• Degree in Mechanical/electrical/Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent
• 7 to 15 years of experience in Building Management System Design and Engineering
• Experience 3 -4 years in team leading activities.
• Full and rigid understanding of BMS design process and operations
• Ability and proven experience to properly read MEP design and extract mandatory BMS design requirements and inputs.
• Ability and fluency to have in depth BMS technical discissions and deliver correct and proper understanding of design problems and solving.
• Problem-solving abilities, and fully aware of escalation protocols, efficiently implementing them.
• Further understanding of multiple building solutions basics, and system components like FAS, ACS, CCTV is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

• Study and Evaluate BMS and HVAC systems all technical drawings, documents, products, components, application and any revisions thereon.
• Verify and prepare all the required design of BMS control systems (i.e. Compliance Statement, BAS Material Submittal, Control Schematic diagrams, BAS system architecture, I/O points lists, BOQ, cable schedules, wiring and termination drawings, installation details... etc.).
• Selection of material and equipment according to the calculations and the project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with specification.
• Preparing project engineering submittals (Material Submittals, Method Statements, Shop drawings, Operation and Maintenance manuals, and other project documentation) as required in line with company and client requirements as well as standards and codes of practices.
• Generate logic function block diagram and download to controller and do T&C.
• Build-up BMS project database, enhance and develop standard process.
• Provide configuration for system alarming, trending, and reporting services.
• Develop and implement high level integrations with different low current systems.
• Develop and implement low level integrations with 3rd party equipment.
• Maintain knowledge transfer amongst peers upon collected experience/assigned trainings and contribute with technical support as needed.
• Willing to work on long term assignments abroad.
