As a Trade Finance Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing trade finance operations, optimizing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance within the Aerospace business. Your expertise will enhance our financial strategies and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
You will report directly to our Regional Treasurer Americas and you’ll work out of our New York or Charlotte location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell's Aerospace business by implementing effective trade finance strategies and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your leadership will support strategic initiatives enhancing the company's ability to manage customer and supplier credit exposure efficiently.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
The annual base salary range for this position is $139,000- $174,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in trade finance or treasury operations, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of trade finance instruments, risk management, and compliance regulations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective trade finance strategies that enhance financial performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in trade finance systems and financial analysis tools
- Solid understanding of the legal and regulatory framework of guarantees and trade finance instruments

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage trade finance operations, including parent company guarantees, letters of credit, and other trade-related financial instruments.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize trade finance processes and minimize financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify exposures and develop trade finance strategies to mitigate risk.
- Partner with the commercial organization to structure deals that include or require trade finance instruments.
- Maintain records of all instruments issued and proactively cancel any instruments no longer needed.
