You will report directly to our Facilities Manager and you’ll work out of our South Bend, IN location with an onsite work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems, ensuring that all machinery operates at optimal levels and meets safety standards.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, particularly those related to numerical control machinery.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with PLCs and CNC machinery is preferred.

- Technical degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, repair and maintain electrical distribution conduits, wiring and components (e.g. switches, transformers, circuit breakers, motor starters, etc.)
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain machine control systems (e.g. PLC, relays, timers, etc.)
- Perform troubleshooting of complex equipment to determine cause of failure/defect
- Install and perform functional checks of machine electrical/electro-mechanical components (e.g. limit switches, sensors, floats, toggles, panel lights, interlocks, etc.)
- Create holes in walls, floors, roofs, and panels for the installation of electrical components.
- Install and repair hangers and brackets used to facilitate electrical installation.
- Perform Predictive Maintenance Inspections (Vibration, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasound)
- Perform basic equipment servicing (cleaning, lubrication, coolant, filters, etc.)
