As a Sr Quality Eng Technician here at Honeywell, you will be performing a comprehensive analysis of products returned by customers, verifying their warranty eligibility and coverage, and identifying the root cause of any defects. You will report directly to our **Sr Quality Eng Supervisor,**and you’ll work out of our Lugoj, Timis location on an **On-Site **work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive physical return items from customers and conduct a Goods Receipt in SAP, verifying the material numbers against SAP records for accuracy.

• Create a Quality Notification (QN) for each individual material and generate an associated task for the RMA administration team to process credit notes or invalidate warranties as appropriate.

• Conduct a thorough investigation of the reported defect in the product and document the findings within the QN.

• Execute physical disposal (SCRAP) of products that are deemed irreparable and record the disposition in SAP accordingly.

• For production-related defects identified during analysis, escalate the issue to the Quality Management (QM) team for further resolution.

• If necessary, prepare a detailed investigation report to accompany the repaired product or to be sent to the customer upon request via email.

Qualifications:

• Technical secondary education in electronics (preferably)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electronics industry or previous role within HLS

• In-depth knowledge of electronics

• Manual dexterity for detailed assembly and repair activities

• Proficient in using manual tools (tweezers, screwdrivers, soldering irons)
