As a Sr. Facilities Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational excellence of our facilities. You will leverage your engineering expertise to optimize maintenance processes, enhance facility performance, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our facilities by implementing innovative engineering solutions and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure that facilities and production equipment are well-maintained and operate smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Collaborate with outside vendors to manage the design, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure and systems within the facilities.

Monitor the condition and functionality of facility assets, coordinating repairs, replacements, or upgrades as needed.

Manage budgets, purchase orders and invoices and create excellent working relationships with all key vendors.

Coordinate project activities to minimize impact to facility and manufacturing operations. Where impacts are unavoidable (power shutdowns, etc.), closely coordinate timing with site leadership to minimize business impact.

Assess current space utilization and develop strategies for optimization to enhance productivity and employee satisfaction.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and safety personnel, to ensure seamless facility operations.

Provide regular updates, including schedule and budget to project stakeholders (escalate issues to Site Leader and Aero Facilities Director)

Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in facilities engineering or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience with budget management and cost-effective solutions.
- Proficient with CAD software to create and modify facility layouts, blueprints, and infrastructure designs.
