As an Intern Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and gain hands-on experience in software engineering. You will be involved in the design, development, and testing of software solutions that support Honeywell's business objectives. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the software development lifecycle and allow you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

In this role, you will impact the development of innovative software solutions that enhance Honeywell's products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop software solutions, and ensure the quality and performance of the software.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with the Engineering team to identify problems in current code & applications, ideas for improvement, and changes to be made.
  • Coding and script writing and/or maintain DB SQL for internally made SW code
  • Participating in development and using MATLAB, Simulink, C#.
  • Software integration and testing
  • IT administration and support – including database upgrades, adding additional users, supporting IT infrastructure.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to work 20 hours per week.
  • Undergoing or having finished a degree in Computer Science /Software Engineering or related field
  • A good command of English language is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, C# is a benefit.
  • Self–starter, motivated, proactive and able to work without supervision.
