As a Senior Export Compliance Officer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company operates within the boundaries of export laws and regulations while maintaining a strong culture of compliance. You will be responsible for supporting Honeywell supply chain and procurement organizations to ensure compliance with all applicable export laws, regulations, and international trade controls.

You will report directly to our Sr. Export Compliance Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ or Torrance, CA locations on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: New hires will work onsite M-F for the first 90 days.

In this role, your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in minimizing risk while maintaining alignment export compliance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Supply Chain and procurement organizations

  • Conduct Supplier Due Diligence

  • Draft U.S. Export Authorizations (both Department of Commerce and Department of State)

  • Release export blocks.

  • Maintain key performance indicators

  • Provide training to key stakeholders

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 1 or more years of experience in export compliance, including ITAR and EAR regulations.
  • Experience with MS Office and Power BI.
  • Experience with developing and using digital tools.
  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in export compliance.
  • OCR/EASE knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong written and presentation skills.

US PERSONS REQUIREMENT

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,800 - $115,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
