• Software Engineer On Guard Symfonia – 12 months paid contract (Hybrid work)

Location: Gdansk, PL

We have an opportunity for a Intern Masters Software Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Gdansk, where you will be responsible for working closely with experienced engineering team to add new functionalities (mainly hardware integration) to On Guard. This paid Internship is a part of our University Relations program, designed to help students launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This internship is set up for 12 months, starting from June/July 2026.

You will learn the introduction to software developer practical side involving daily duties, best practices, team cooperation.

This is hybrid work 3+2! (3 days from office + 2 days from home).

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with an experienced engineering team to design and implement new functionalities for the On Guard product, with a focus on hardware integration

• Contribute to the development and integration of software components with connected hardware devices

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings to learn best engineering practices

• Gain hands-on experience across the full development cycle, from feature design to testing and deployment

Qualifications:

• Undergoing or having finished a degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field

• Knowledge of C++ and basic SQL

• English level: comfortable communicating in English in both written and spoken

• Naturally curious and a proactive problem solver, approaching tasks with a methodical and consistent mindset

• Well-organized and capable of managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and support team objectives

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook; quick to learn new software and systems
