Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineering and Dev teams to identify issues in existing infrastructure, automation pipelines, and system configurations, and propose improvements.
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Linux-based systems.
- Support and improve cloud infrastructure (provisioning, scaling, monitoring, reliability).
- Perform IT / systems administration tasks, including system upgrades, user and access management, and maintenance of core infrastructure services.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Ability to work 20 hours per week.
- Undergoing or having finished a degree in Computer Science /Software Engineering or related field
- Ability to build and manage API calls in Python and/or PowerShell to support vRA operations (IP reservation, CI creation, VMware integration).
- Familiarity with standard development and testing tools such as Visual Studio Code, GitHub, and Postman.
- Experience with automation and scripting using Linux shell, cloud-init, and PowerShell.
- A good command of English language is mandatory.
