Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor/master’s degree of Engineering/Science Computer Science, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Signal Processing, Navigation

• Required 2+ years of software development experience (or equivalence in post-graduate school) with a concentration in C/C++.

• Development experience with X86/PPC embedded software embedded OS (Vx Works, Linux, etc.).

• Good communication skills with fluency in written, reading and oral English.

• Experience on common Configuration Management tool.

• Ability to work in a self-directed and virtual environment required, strong problem-solving skills required.

• Additional Qualifications

• Skills/experience in any of the following areas is a plus:

• Knowledge on Communication/Navigation/Surveillance system

• Knowledge on industry avionics specifications, such as, RTCA, EUROCAE, ICAO doc.

• Aircraft I/O and system simulations, avionics development/test.

• Knowledge on hardware/software integration test bench setup and maintenance.

The selected candidate's primary job assignment will be Honeywell Aerospace avionics Communication/Navigation/Surveillance systems development, mainly focus on System/SW requirement creations, SW design, SW implementation, integration, deployment, and support. The candidate will need broad understanding of technically complex products and process technologies. Additionally, the candidate will interface frequently with various engineering groups to support joint integration test and debug all components needed to support the simulations on the desktop and in the labs, and also the candidate should have ability to understand and convert technical, customer, and industry specifications into requirements.
