As a Sr Finance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will drive financial strategies, provide insightful guidance, and ensure operational excellence, directly impacting our growth, profitability, and long-term financial health

Key Responsibilities:

  • To co-ordinate and manage scrap review with site operations team. Scrap reporting by factory, product family, major pareto and followup for any pending issues to be resolved with respective departments.

  • Production order variance (POV) analysis into material and labor elements. Analysis of products/work order with huge variance, favorable/unfavorable to drive Operations and Engineering to minimize variances.

  • Support site with labor efficiency (LE) metric, ie weekly and monthly reporting. LE forecast/simulation to support site in controlling and managing LE metric as and when required.

  • Quarterly Inventory Excess & Obsolescence analysis in accordance with policy. Review and followup with materials management team on huge variances identified, to document the reasons and action plan to address the issues identified.

  • Over/under overhead absorption analysis and forecast. Weekly over/under absorption analysis & forecast based on actual and plan MPS output. To analyse key driver for week to week major over/under absorption forecast changes, and key driver for forecast to actuals major deviation at month end.

  • To co-ordinate and manage yearly physical inventory count. Work with operations and materials management to ensure proper cut-off schedule, and effective execution of physical inventory count.

  • Ensure internal controls & SOX compliance. Key Control Document and Process Map update.

  • Daily and month end close activities to ensure completeness of journal postings, inventory reports reconciliation etc. Any additional work that may be assigned as and when required.

  • Able to support both OEM and R&O business as and when needed. Ability to manage and analyse full business P&L.

  • Forecast and AOP preparation for assigned business unit.

  • Co-ordinate fixed assets sighting.

  • Co-ordinate AP payment with disbursement team

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or Professional Accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 8 years related work experience.
  • Strong understanding on business process and accounting flow impacting financial statement.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and internal controls requirement.
  • ERP hands on experience. SAP will be added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good business partnership skills to drive and support site operations.
  • Positive attitude, team player, able to interact at all levels and work in continuous change environment.
