In this role, you will have a significant impact on the overall quality and reliability of our products by delivering superior quality engineering support for our suppliers. You will be responsible for implementing advanced quality control processes, coaching suppliers, conducting root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to improve product quality. Your expertise in quality engineering methodologies and tools will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and ensuring customer satisfaction.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 5 or more years of experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector
  • 2 or more years in a supplier facing role
  • Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Strong knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and tools
  • AS9100/ISO9001 Audit Experience

WE VALUE

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Additional certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or Internal Auditor Certification
  • Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Proficiency in change management methodologies.
  • Demonstrates working under minimal supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision making
  • MIL-PRF-38535 knowledge and understanding
  • Demonstrated ability providing technical guidance, project management guidance, consultative services, and innovative solutions to leadership

The annual base salary range for this position is $94,400 - $118,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.   • External and internal audit findings
  • Corrective Action Response, Implementation and Effectiveness
  • Open/Aging supplier corrective actions
  • Review, Manage, Issue Notices of Escape as contractually required
  • Supplier Quality Scorecards
  • Supplier Audits, Qualification, and Surveillance Audits

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor supplier performance against defined quality scope, and identify areas for assertion
  • Conduct supplier reviews, supplier meetings, monthly reporting, and risk and opportunity management as required
  • Ensure supplier quality deliverables are aligned with site and business requirements
  • Leads, trains and mentors other engineers and technicians
  • Undertake the development and implementation of supplier quality control processes and procedures through projects and continuous improvement initiatives to support customer quality
  • Engage in the continuous monitoring and analysis of supplier intricate quality performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support delivery of quality products to customers
  • Guarantee and maintain strict compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support, lead and manage change
