As a Sr. Accounting Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the accounting function within the organization. You will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. In this role, you will impact the financial performance of the organization by ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing insights to improve financial performance.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Mexican GAAP, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities

• Manage various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting

• Partner closely with other Controllership team members, including corporate accounting, external reporting, and consolidations, to successfully execute responsibilities.
• Prepare and execute journal entries to support accounting team with month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Perform accounting research to assess the impact of proposed transactions, providing guidance to our business partners to improve decision making.
• Assist with internal controls projects and programs to ensure continuous improvement of the internal control environment.
