ESS is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to lead the technical delivery of Performance Plus, a key connected offering that enables real-time performance monitoring and optimization for our customers. This role will be based in Bangalore and will work closely with global teams across R&D, Engineering, and Product Management to drive digital innovation and operational excellence

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT engineering or software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), APIs, and microservices.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT) and IoT platforms.

• Experience in refining, petrochemical, or process industries.

• Familiarity with Honeywell Forge or similar industrial platforms.

• Cloud or cybersecurity certifications.

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Performance Plus and other connected offerings.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and customer needs.

• Develop and maintain scalable cloud-based architectures (Azure preferred).

• Integrate connected solutions with enterprise systems and customer environments.

• Champion DevOps practices and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure cybersecurity compliance and data protection across all deployments.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Support global rollouts and troubleshoot complex deployment issues.
