Job Overview:

The Cluster Executive Chef is responsible for leading, inspiring, and managing the culinary

operations of two prestigious Hilton properties in Chania. This role oversees all kitchen

teams, ensuring exceptional quality, innovation, and consistency across multiple dining

venues, bars, and banqueting operations.

The Cluster Executive Chef will uphold Hilton:

brand standards while developing unique concepts that enhance each property’s identity,

with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee all culinary operations for both properties, ensuring alignment with

brand standards and property positioning.

  • Develop and implement creative menus and seasonal offerings tailored to each venue’s

concept and target clientele, including fine dining, casual outlets, bars, in-room dining, and

banqueting.

  • Lead menu engineering and cost control initiatives to achieve budgeted food cost

percentages and optimize profitability.

  • Maintain the highest standards of food presentation, taste, hygiene, and safety across all

kitchens, in compliance with HACCP and local regulations.

  • Recruit, train, and develop culinary teams across both properties, fostering a culture of

excellence, creativity, and accountability.

  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Management team to design signature experiences

for luxury and MICE guests, including bespoke menus for events, weddings, and

conferences.

  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure consistency and

compliance.

  • Partner with procurement to source premium, sustainable, and locally inspired

ingredients.

  • Manage kitchen budgets, labor costs, and resource allocation across both hotels

efficiently.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating modern techniques and concepts into the

properties’ culinary identity.

Skills & Qualifications:

Work Experience

Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in luxury hotel or resort

environments, preferably within international brands.

  • Proven track record in managing multi-outlet operations, banqueting, and high-end

culinary concepts.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and mentor

multi-cultural teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of cost control, menu engineering, and food safety management

systems (HACCP certification required).

  • Creativity and passion for culinary innovation while respecting brand standards.

  • Fluency in English & preferably Greek (additional languages are an asset).
