What You’ll Do

• Prepare and present dishes to Hilton’s high standards of quality and consistency
• Complete all mise en place for relevant menus
• Support the kitchen brigade and collaborate across departments
• Maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination in all work areas
• Monitor food costs and contribute to revenue targets
• Report maintenance, hygiene, and safety issues promptly
• Comply with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
• Strive to meet departmental goals as part of a dynamic team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef
• NVQ Level 1 (Level 2 preferred) or equivalent qualification
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Team player with a passion for learning and culinary excellence
• Completion of a basic food hygiene course
• Accredited commercial cookery course or trade apprenticeship

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• Experience in high-standard, fast-paced kitchen environments
