What will I be doing?
At Hilton, we fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. Guided by our values of Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership, and Now, the e Commerce Manager plays a critical role in driving digital performance across assigned Hilton hotels in Japan.
This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing digital channel performance for a portfolio of assigned hotels. You take initiative to formulate strategies for ecommerce projects that support and drive the digital marketing across Rooms, Dining, Weddings and Meetings business of the assigned hotels. You ensure Corporate strategy and direction is implemented by the e Commerce Cluster for the commercial benefit of such hotels.
Acting as a trusted partner to hotel commercial, marketing teams and working closely with reports such as Assistant e Commerce Managers, the e Commerce Manager identifies performance gaps, develops data-driven recommendations, and supports hotels in executing initiatives that improve direct revenue, visibility, and guest engagement across Hilton’s digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee digital channel performance for assigned hotels, including brand.com, mobile, OTA, and other digital platforms.
· Monitor hotel-level ecommerce KPIs and identify properties that require focused performance improvement.
· Work closely with Assistant e Commerce Managers (hotel-facing and content management), executives and individual hotel teams to develop and execute action plans that drive improved digital performance and revenue.
· Provide ecommerce consulting support to hotel commercial teams across Rooms, F&B, Weddings, and Meetings business segments.
· Ensure Hilton corporate and regional digital strategies are effectively implemented at the hotel level.
· Analyze performance data and reporting to deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to hotels.
· Support the execution of regional and global ecommerce initiatives and translate them into practical hotel-level actions.
· Partner with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Revenue Management, and external vendors to support hotel objectives.
· Contribute to process improvement, best-practice sharing, and knowledge development within the Japan e Commerce Cluster.
· Undertake ad-hoc projects and support cluster priorities as required.
What We Are Looking For
· Strong understanding of ecommerce and digital marketing.
· Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into clear, practical recommendations.
· Proven ability to collaborate with hotel teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
· Solid commercial mindset with a focus on revenue growth and performance optimization.
· Strong communication and presentation skills.
· Well-organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple hotels and priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· 5+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or related fields.
· Hospitality, OTA, or digital agency experience preferred.
· Language: native Japanese, business-level English
