A Wedding Sales Manager analyses local market trends, competitor activity, and wedding segment dynamics to recommend strategies that position the hotel as a preferred wedding destination through the development of future and repeat business.
What will I be doing?
As Wedding Sales Manager, you will analyse market trends and wedding segment opportunities to develop strategies that drive wedding and social event business to the hotel. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Analyse local market trends, competitor activity, and wedding industry dynamics to identify new business opportunities.

Develop and manage client accounts, including wedding planners, agencies, and direct customers, while actively pursuing new leads within the local and feeder markets.

Drive wedding and social event revenue by promoting tailored wedding packages, venues, and experiences offered by the hotel.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and customized packages in alignment with current business strategies and revenue objectives.

Develop and implement creative sales and marketing initiatives targeting the wedding and social events segment, including digital and social media channels.

Prepare and manage contracts in accordance with hotel policies, pricing structures, and operational capabilities.

Work within established business strategies while identifying potential growth opportunities within the wedding and celebrations market.

Collaborate closely with Events, Operations, Catering, Revenue, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and an exceptional guest experience.

Conduct site inspections, client meetings, and presentations to showcase wedding venues and services.

Attend industry events, bridal shows, and sales activities as required to generate awareness and business opportunities.

Produce accurate and timely reports for the Director of Sales and senior management, including pipeline updates, conversion metrics, and revenue forecasts.

Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the sales cycle.

Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Support team coordination and performance in alignment with company standards and procedures.

Experience within the hospitality or luxury resort environment

Passion for sales and achieving revenue targets

Understanding of wedding planning processes and client expectations

Degree-level qualification in Sales, Hospitality, Marketing, Events, or a related field
