The Team Member Kitchen Commis I assists the Chef de Partie to supervise team members in the kitchen section in the Team Member Restaurant.
What will I be doing?
As the Team Member Kitchen Commis I, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Cook team member meals during mealtimes according to the menu.

Monitor the quality and quantity of all food items being served.
-
Ensure that the kitchen receives the correct quality and quantity of all food.

Ensure that food is not wasted nor reused.
-
Have a complete understanding of and follow-up on hotel policies relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
-
Respect the Team Member Restaurant’s Head Chef and organization.
-
Maintain a clean appearance as well as good hygiene and clean uniforms.
-
Maintain good communication with all team members.
-
Assist the Team Member Restaurant’s Head Chef and Chef de Partie with all items related to operations and be aware of team members’ feedback.

Complement and maintain quality standards related to sanitation and cleanliness.
-
Help wherever required as requested by the Team member Canteen Chef.

Ensure that all operating equipment / furniture are in good condition.

Clean the kitchen area.
-
Complete reasonable responsibilities and assigned work.

A Team Member Kitchen Commis I, serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

High School graduate.

Minimum 2 years of related working experience in the hotel industry.

Good communication skills.

Good execution and teamwork.

Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.

Able to work under great physical and mental pressures.
