Food and Beverage Supervisor

A Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of Food and Beverage outlets to ensure an exceptional guest experience while supporting the team in achieving departmental objectives. When applying, please indicate the department you are most interested in.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will primarily oversee operations at Marble Bar / Zeta Bar, with exposure to other F&B outlets as required. Your role will include supervising staff, maintaining high standards of service, and supporting the achievement of departmental goals. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising day-to-day Food and Beverage outlet operations.

  • Utilizing hotel bartending experience to maintain service excellence.

  • Communicating effectively with team members and delegating tasks.

  • Ensuring full compliance with brand standards.

  • Handling guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

  • Representing the needs of your team to management.

  • Assisting Food and Beverage management in achieving financial targets.

  • Supporting the training and professional development of team members.

  • Participating in annual and mid-year performance appraisals for team members under your supervision.

  • Complying with hotel security, fire safety regulations, and all health and safety legislation.

  • Promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices.

  • Collaborating with other departments as needed to maintain smooth operations and strong working relationships.

Compensation

Hilton Sydney offers above the HIGA Level 5 rate: $30.18 – $75.45 per hour (based on penalties and exclusive of tips, where applicable).
