A Support Service Accounts Agent (Receiving) is responsible for receiving supplies & equipment for the day to day operations of the hotel. They also verify that all supplies/ goods received are checked and ordered in line with company standard operating procedures.

What will I be doing?

As a Support Service Accounts Agent ( Receiving), you will be as a critical member of the hotel Finance Team by performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

The receiving clerk will receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel to the correct point of contact/storage area.

Follow standard for receiving stock within the store’s area of operation.

Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly

Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.

Ensure temperature checks on food are done in line with Hygiene standards

Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items; following procedures to complete this process.

Responsible for overall cleanliness and hygiene of receiving area.

Responsible to check the overall condition of the delivery trucks to ensure hygienic conditions for all stock received; report any major defects to the Purchasing manager.

Utilization of the Hilton “Make It Right” process in handling issues and complaints.
