The core responsibilities of the Purchasing Officer are to assist the Purchasing Supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Purchasing department and to procure the items required by the Management at a competitive price but without compromising quality.
What will I be doing?
As the Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Handle purchase requests and carry out market research and comparisons.

Contact the relevant departments to address their requests.
-
Prepare the bidding reports and outstanding purchase order.
-
Liaise with other departments on a regular basis to ensure over or under stocking is minimized.

Pepare the purchase cost saving report (purchase efficiency)
-
Prepare the product testing report (if any).
-
Handle all requests and enquiries in a timely, efficient and friendly manner.
-
Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What are we looking for?
A Purchasing Officer serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

College graduate.

At least 1 years of working experience as Purchasing Officer.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledgeable of supplies.

Mature and reliable person.
-
Good command of both written and spoken English to meet business needs.

Prior experience in related work preferred.

Flexible in relation to work hours, especially at month end and during stock take.

Possesses a positive mindset toward the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and an excellent sense of prioritization and urgency.
