About the Role

The General Manager of Martinique New York on Broadway, Curio Collection by Hilton, provides strategic and operational leadership for this iconic, landmark hotel in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. This role is responsible for driving overall hotel performance while honoring the property’s rich architectural and cultural heritage and delivering a distinctive Curio guest experience. The GM leads all aspects of operations, financial performance, and commercial strategy, while fostering a high-performing, service-driven culture. Working closely with ownership and Hilton, the General Manager will position the hotel for continued success within a highly competitive urban market, balancing historic stewardship with modern service innovation and strong market relevance.

Martinique New York on Broadway, Curio Collection by Hilton, is a landmark Midtown Manhattan hotel blending historic French Renaissance and Art Deco elegance with modern comfort. Originally opened in the late 1890s and now a designated New York City landmark, this iconic property sits at Broadway and 32nd Street, placing guests steps from the Empire State Building, Herald Square, Madison Square Garden, and premier shopping and transit hubs.
The hotel offers thoughtfully renovated guest rooms, dynamic dining experiences, a 24-hour fitness center, and versatile event spaces that reflect its rich heritage and contemporary style. Whether for business, leisure, or city exploration, Martinique New York delivers a distinct New York experience rooted in history and vibrant urban energy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years' Hotel General Manager experience with a proven track record leading operations in a property with minimum $30M annual revenue and 350 rooms
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strategic ownership partnership, fostering trust through transparency and clear communication
  • Solid commercial acumen with expertise in financial oversight and revenue optimization
  • Thoughtful people leadership with a demonstrated track record of driving engagement and overseeing high-performing teams
  • Hands-on, guest-facing leader with strong front-of-house presence and a passion for service excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience managing labor relations and union partnerships
  • Hilton brand experience
  • Local market experience

The annual salary range for this role is $275K - $315K and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
