Good Housekeeping is seeking a sharp, creative, and data-savvy Newsletter Editor to lead the voice and strategy of our newsletter portfolio. This role sits at the heart of how our millions of readers connect with our brand—turning inboxes into trusted destinations for lifestyle inspiration and information.

About Hearst Magazines (Why Us?)

With sophisticated content creation, cutting-edge technology, and industry-leading data capabilities, we make media and products that move people across all platforms. We are a global media company that publishes nearly 200 magazine editions and 175 websites around the world—and together, we are shaping what’s next.

  • Develop strategies to grow newsletter audiences and deepen reader relationships.
  • Uphold high editorial standards and ensure content complies with brand, legal, and compliance guidelines.
  • Occasional holiday or weekend work may be required.

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 5+ years of experience writing and producing newsletters at an editorial or media brand.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates editorial voice and audience connection.
  • Proficiency with newsletter platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Sailthru, Google Analytics).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as AirTable, Asana, or Trello.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate numbers into actionable content strategies.
  • Passion for lifestyle content and storytelling that resonates with readers.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail—you never miss a send.
  • A collaborative spirit and curiosity about how audiences engage with content.
  • Hybrid work schedule: 4 days per week in our NYC office.

Benefits (What We Offer)

  • Work with the Best: Collaborate with top-tier professionals across media, advertising, tech, fashion, lifestyle, and publishing, shaping the future of these dynamic industries.
