Job Summary : Skilled and proactive Backup Engineer with hands-on experience in Veritas Net Backup to manage and support enterprise backup.Job Description : Administer and maintain enterprise backup solutions using Commvault and Net Backup.\\r\\n Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot backup jobs, schedules, and policies.\\r\\n Perform regular backup validation, restore testing, and disaster recovery drills.\\r\\n Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure backup coverage and SLAs.\\r\\n Manage backup storage capacity, retention policies, and tape library operations.\\r\\n Implement and maintain backup reporting and alerting mechanisms.\\r\\n Ensure compliance with data protection policies and regulatory requirements.\\r\\n Provide L2/L3 support for backup-related incidents and service requests.\\r\\n.Job Responsibilities : Skilled and proactive Backup Engineer with hands-on experience in Veritas Net Backup to manage and support enterprise backup.

2. Conduct Thorough Root Cause Analysis For Escalated Incidents, Ensuring Timely Resolution And Effective Communication With Stakeholders To Maintain High Operational Standards.

3. Engage In Knowledge Base Management By Updating And Documenting Technical Solutions, While Also Training And Mentoring Junior Analysts To Build Team Capability.

4. Resolve Complex Support Tickets Efficiently Within Agreed Slas, Collaborating With Cross-Functional Support Teams To Maintain Security Posture And Operational Integrity.

5. Enhance Customer Experience And Satisfaction By Achieving First Call Resolution, Minimizing Rejected Resolutions, And Proactively Addressing Potential Security Threats.
