Senior Tester Automotive HiL Testing

Job Summary

The candidate will support OTA (Over-the-Air) software update validation, vehicle network diagnostics, and testing activities. The role involves executing test cases, analyzing CAN and Automotive Ethernet traces, supporting issue investigation, and contributing to OTA validation activities under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Execute test cases and document test results.

Support OTA update validation activities.

Capture and analyze CAN/CAN FD and Automotive Ethernet traces.

Assist in troubleshooting OTA update failures and communication issues.

Analyze diagnostic logs and support root cause investigations.

Perform functional and regression testing.

Log and track defects using defect management tools.

Prepare test reports and validation documentation.

Support CAPL script execution and maintenance.

Collaborate with development and validation teams during issue resolution.

Skill Requirements

Automotive Domain

Basic understanding of Automotive E/E Architecture.Exposure to vehicle diagnostics and OTA concepts.Understanding of ECU communication fundamentals.Vehicle Communication Protocols

CAN

CAN FD (Preferred)

Basic Automotive Ethernet concepts:

UDS fundamentals

DoIP (Preferred)

Tools

CANoe or CANalyzer:

Wireshark (Basic Knowledge)
