Job Summary

Role – Application Packaging & Deployment specialist and Patching (Tanium) We are looking for experienced professional with strong expertise in Application Packaging and Tanium to join our End User Computing team. This role focusses on managing the complete software lifecycle – from packaging and testing to secure and scalable deployment across enterprise environment. Location: Hyderabad, Pune Experience: 5+ Years Shift: US shift (MST timing) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Packaging, Patching and Deployment specialist with a strong focus on Tanium. This role is crucial for managing the entire software lifecycle within our organization, from application packaging and testing to secure and scalable deployment using the Tanium platform. This ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise application deployment best practices, excellent scripting abilities, and a proven track record of leveraging Tanium for efficient endpoint management. Key responsibilities:

• Package and deploy applications (MSI, MSIX, EXE, App-V) across Windows endpoints • Design and manage deployments using Tanium Deploy and related modules.
• Patches and in-place OS upgrades to Windows workstations.
• Create and optimize Tanium Packages, bundles and sensors.
• Automate deployment processes using PowerShell/Python scripting.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and perform root cause analysis • Experience in remediating deployment and patch failures, log.
• Ensure endpoint compliance, reporting, and software inventory tracking • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations Required Skills:
• 4+ Years in Application Packaging and Deployment • Hands-on experience with Tanium (Deploy, patch, Core, Asset) • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell mandatory) • Experience with packaging tools • Knowledge of Windows OS, registry and installer mechanisms • Exposure to SCCM/Intune is a plus
