Senior MS SQL Admin:

Key Responsibilities

Installation/Upgrade/Migration of MS SQL Servers.\r\n Apply any patches or service packs for MS SQL Server.\r\n Configure High Availability/Disaster recovery solutions.\r\n Configure automated alerts to send a mail to team if any issues.\r\n Work on incidents, change tickets and problem tickets.\r\n Setup Maintenance plans for Backups, Database integrity check, rebuild index and Update statistics and make sure to run all the jobs without any issues.\r\n Troubleshoot locking issues, including deadlocks, blocking, lock timeouts and fix them.\r\n Execute all changes of DB schema and maintain controlled development database environment.\r\n Work closely with application developers to test, configure, and optimize servers based on application demands\r\n Handle database object deployment to Integration, QA, UAT, and Production\r\n Provide day to day support of high OLTP HA of MS SQL Server databases- Identify root causes of production problems and work with developers to resolve such problems.\r\n
