Your Role

As a Merchandiser at H&M Beauty India, you will be a key contributor to building the Indian beauty assortment while securing long-term growth and profitability. You will take full ownership of the purchasing workflow and work closely with global and local stakeholders to deliver the best products to our customers—at the right quality, price, and time.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end purchasing workflow, ensuring the global best buy, best price, and on-time delivery for H&M Beauty in India
• Translate product briefs from the Assortment team in Sweden into development, quotation, and order follow-up activities in line with set strategies
• Drive product development and negotiations to secure the best commercial outcome for our customers
• Assess and select the most suitable suppliers for each product based on quality, cost, capacity, and compliance
• Manage requests and orders according to H&M routines and methods, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery
• Act as a strong link between internal teams and suppliers, contributing to continuous improvement and supplier development

​​WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH​What is Production? It's the place where design ideas are transformed into actual products. We are in over 20 sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for local suppliers. We work to ensure our products are of good quality and produced at the best price and in a sustainable way.

​WHO YOU ARE​

As a Merchandiser at H&M Beauty India, you are a commercially driven and solution-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, global environment and are motivated by building products that customers love.

We believe you bring:

• Must have3–5 years of experience working with cosmetics or beauty products (filled productspreferred), either at a global brand or a full-service supplier
• Solid cost knowledge of beauty products, with a strong focus on the make-up/fragrances category
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and awareness of product and market trends
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to present, influence, and collaborate across a global network
• Proven stakeholder management skills
• A high level of ownership, flexibility, and entrepreneurial mindset
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to build strong relationships
• Knowledge of the Indian supplier base (a strong advantage)
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
