As a Product Developer, you are the creative and technical link between design vision and production reality. You transform ideas into high-quality, sustainable products that meet customer expectations and align with H&M’s global assortment strategies. Your role ensures that every product reflects innovation, trend relevance, and operational excellence.
- Drive product development to secure the best product from a customer perspective.
- Translate product ideas into tangible product solutions from early ideation to prototype development, in line with global assortment strategies and seasonal trends.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to co-create seasonal development plans and development strategies.
- Develop the supplier readiness and capabilities based on the business strategy.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITHWhat is Production? It's the place where design ideas are transformed into actual products. We are in over 20 sourcing markets and are the direct point of contact for suppliers. We work to ensure our products are of good quality and produced at the best price and in a sustainable way.
WHO YOU ARE
As a Product Developer, you combine creativity with structure and a strong sense of responsibility, approach your work with ownership, structure, and attention to detail.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Communicate clearly, proactively, and with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Bring strong fashion sense in Products, with deep knowledge of sustainable standards, materials, and finishes.
- Act as a reliable partner to a Product Designer.
- Empower suppliers through technology and continuous support.
We are looking for someone who brings creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for home textiles. Ideally, you have:
- 2–4 years of experience in the home textile industry.
- Previous experience working in a buying house or liaison office.
- Ability to drive innovation with strong knowledge of trends, cost analysis, and securing product strategies.
- Skills to build business cases for new categories and suppliers.
- Experience in supplier development (both existing and new), collaborating to enhance capabilities.
- Solid knowledge of yarns and fabrics.
- Ability to scan the market for new opportunities and translate insights into action.
