The Role
We are seeking hands-on web engineers with a proven track record of shipping world-class web applications at scale. You are a systems-thinker experienced in tackling complex, ambiguous technical problems. You have a deep understanding of modern web technologies, architecture, and performance optimization. You possess not just exceptional coding ability, but also the product sense to influence and drive technical strategy. You are passionate about AI and knowledgeable about the newest generative tools and technologies. You take responsibility to ensure billions of users have a secure environment for AI interaction, upholding robust legal and privacy standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and launch cutting-edge Gemini web applications that redefine AI interaction for billions of users.

Partner with scientists and designers to advance the state of the art in AI while ensuring safety and privacy.
Key Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of professional full-time experience in web front-end development.

Proven track record of successfully launching user-facing features at scale.

Proficiency in full-stack development, including web front-end and back-end services.

Demonstrated ability in robust system design and managing complex infrastructure.

Excellent collaboration skills and experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
About You
You are a proactive problem-solver who balances technical excellence with a strong user-centric mindset. You don't just write code; you understand how your work fits into the broader product ecosystem. You are naturally curious, staying ahead of AI trends, and you value a collaborative environment where you can inspire peers across different disciplines to ship impactful software.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $166,000 - $244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
