Business Unit Overview

This hiring is for Credit Technology team, which is part of Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities Technology group in India, which has presence in Bengaluru. Credit Technology team works closely with Credit Trading and Sales desks globally providing digital solutions to business problems.

The India Credit Technology team has a deep pipeline of business-driven project requests, aimed at automating trading/sales workflows, redefining ETL strategy of our data ecosystem and increasing our competitive advantage with our clients.

Your Impact

• The team is looking to expand in Bengaluru to work on initiatives for building new and innovative solutions, in addition to re-engineering our existing Trade booking and data ingestion platforms.
• You will be working closely with multiple engineering teams front to back, to help design and build various Trade capture/booking systems, along with building diverse data pipelines, which will help grow our business.
• You will work with some of the best minds in the industry and get an opportunity to interact with various engineering teams across the globe to achieve common goals front to back.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for a skilled back-end developer with strong communication skills to join our team and help work on key initiatives. We expect you to be a self-starter and eager to solve complex problems with guidance from senior members in the team. Our team promotes a culture of innovation and creative thinking to build modern robust systems. Effectively meeting the demands of our challenging mandate requires a passion for learning as well as deep understanding and experience across a wide array of technical competencies.

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3 year of experience in software development
• A solid understanding of object orientated programming skills (Java, Python, C++, or other OO technology) including data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Linux operating system internals and/or networking concepts
• Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
• Experience collaborating in global teams and possesses strong interpersonal skills and ‘Client Touch’

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL concepts and tools
• Familiarity with Git, awareness of CI/CD and other modern SDLC practice
• Experience in modern message-oriented middleware, e.g.

Kafka or RabbitMQ:

• Basic Exposure to Big data technologies
• Knowledge of financial markets
