Asset & Wealth Management Engineering

Across Wealth Management, Goldman Sachs helps empower clients and customers around the world to reach their financial goals. Our advisor-led wealth management businesses provide financial planning, investment management, banking and comprehensive advice to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, as well as family offices, foundations and endowments, and corporations and their employees. Our consumer business provides digital solutions for customers to better spend, borrow, invest, and save. How you will fulfill your potential

As an engineer within the Private Wealth Management Asset Transfers Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting key Asset Transfers platforms leveraged by Clients and Wealth Advisors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable UI applications using React
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Maintain, improve and support existing software
• Support production environments to analyze issues across a distributed architecture
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions and technical architecture decisions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Engineering Field
• 1+ years of relevant professional experience
• Hands on experience in React JS, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript

Requirements

• Experience with microservice architectures and RESTful APIs
• Self-motivated with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems under time pressure and resource constraints
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
