YOUR IMPACT
The Asset Management Expense Team is seeking a professional with strong communication skills, accounting and finance experience and strong technical skills to collaborate with controllers, portfolio managers, technologists, risk, tax, compliance and other operational groups in supporting the division with respect to expense management responsibilities.

The Asset Management Expense Team is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate approval, allocation and accounting of expenses for the division and the products it offers to clients. The products supported are private equity funds across Corporate Equity, Growth Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Sustainability and Credit. HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL
The successful individual will be expected to work in a team of professionals and be able to be commercial, critical & creative whilst ensuring the highest level of risk management.
- Prepare expense management reports using the firm’s systems to extract data and summarize in an organized manner
- Expense analysis and tracking including opening and closing internal expense ledger accounts, expense capitalization, balance substantiation, country exposure, expense accruals, expense allocations and providing support to various audit / compliance requests
- Assist with the set up, processing and approval of vendor invoices, tracking and analysis of certain consultants, expense budgets and actuals
- Build your communication skills through interaction with senior leadership, middle office teams, controllers, fund managers, fund controllers and other internal teams to resolve issues and to collaborate on process and product enhancements and improvements
- Display your ability to function as a team player while working in a fast paced environment
- Develop your project management skillset by managing and/or assisting with projects for system or process improvements
- Develop your critical thinking by investigating and resolving issues
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five to seven years of experience in financial services.
- Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail
- Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal clients with differing levels of product experience
- Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment
- A high level of accuracy with the ability to maintain this standard while under pressure from deadlines
- Risk Management focus

- Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion required
- Accounting / Finance / procurement background
