GLOBAL OPERATIONAL RISK

The Global Risk Management team is uniquely positioned within the firm as part of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. The team is responsible for independent oversight and risk governance covering all elements of operational risks including risks related to personal data. The team regularly interacts with a wide range of teams across Goldman Sachs Asset Management including embedded risk managers, and various Federation groups that cover Goldman Sachs Asset Management, including the Legal, Compliance, the Risk Division and Controllers in order to effectively monitor risk and continually improve upon our risk governance framework. The team is also responsible for risk monitoring and regulatory reporting for the global fund complex.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Functional and strategic diagnosis processes, taking into account operational risks
  • Optimization, automation and digitalization of the pension product service area
  • Identification of the weaknesses in the processes and establishing control framework
  • Cooperation with the transfer agent and employers in the area of operational processes related to PPE / PPI / PPK
  • Cooperation with institutional clients, taking care of business relations
  • Implementation of market and capital group standards in terms of compliance with the guidelines of the investment fund market regulator
  • Participating in operational and business projects

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Fluent communication in written and spoken English
  • Degree holder major in Finance, Economy
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a financial institution
  • Knowledge of the principles of the investment fund environment and pension products (PPE / PPK)
  • Dynamic performance and excellent organization of own work
  • Commitment to ongoing projects
  • Independence in action and ability to work in a team
