We seek a Scala Developer who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to to join a high-impact financial services project building mission-critical platforms and scalable cloud-native systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, working on distributed systems, and delivering reliable backend services that support real business outcomes.

What will help you succeed:

• Strong background in Scala backend development

• Critical requirement: hands-on experience with Akka and ZIO

• Experience designing APIs and cloud-native services

• Solid understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL)

• Experience with automated testing and clean architecture principles

• Build high-performance backend services and APIs

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on investment-related platforms

• Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies

• Support integrations and production reliability
