Introduction:

To manage a team of Managers & Engineers and be responsible for the deliverables. Lead or support cross-Fab and cross-functional project teams / taskforces to understand, drive and resolve Process Integration related issues.

To collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure the fab requirements are met with a ONEGF mindset.

Your Job

  • Lead and manage a team to support Global Foundries business objectives in all areas of derivative platform technology, modular developments, and transfer from the Fabs.

  • Play a key role in devising strategies to establish new teams and functions and ensure the KPI’s are met.

Set goals and objectives for the team and assist in evaluating the team against the metrics defined.

  • Understand and facilitate team to resolve all baseline process integration issues like ET & Inline fails and low yield to drive quality KPI improvement.

  • Responsible for wafer quality to conform to product requirements and have the authority to stop shipment and stop production to correct quality problems

  • Drive process cost reduction activities through process simplification aligning with fab stakeholders.

  • Initiate and lead change throughout process integration, yield/process improvement organization that promote and encourage continuous improvement in all work areas and activities.

  • Provide timely executive reports/updates to management on progress of all project/product status and critical KPI.

  • Interface with Customer Engineers to address external customers’ technical issues/concerns and to develop action plans for resolution.

  • Mentor managers and engineers in both technical and managerial aspects.

  • Provide support and ensure adequate resources to comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and participate in improving and maintaining the EHS management system.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD or Masters degree in Electrical (Microelectronics) / Electronics/ Chemical Engineering or Physics/ Materials Science or related field

  • Minimum 15+ years of combined technical and managerial experience in semiconductor manufacturing foundry in Process Integration

  • Experience working with Global teams in a matrix organization.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities
