Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manufacturing Architect to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, solutioning, and optimizing environments and platforms that support the GF fab operations. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and platforms, enterprise IT architecture, and the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize scalable IT architectures tailored for manufacturing environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, R&D, and IT, to assess current systems and identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement.
• Lead and collaborate with other IT Architects on design and optimization of localized MES (Si View, Promise) and other production manufacturing technologies, keeping integration into the global IT landscape.
• Ensure system interoperability, data integrity, and real-time data flow across manufacturing platforms.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, automation) for applicability within the manufacturing domain and propose innovative solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, workflows, and system configurations.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to IT Architecture teams regarding new systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, cybersecurity, and data privacy standards applicable to manufacturing IT systems.
• Support troubleshooting and problem resolution for critical manufacturing IT systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in IT architecture, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, MES (Si View, Promise), ERP systems, and industrial automation technologies.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, data analytics, and cybersecurity in manufacturing settings.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certifications in IT architecture, manufacturing systems, or related areas are a plus.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in other regional languages is an advantage.
• Must be based in Singapore or willing to relocate.
