Introduction:
The Business Manager / Business Readiness Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing business readiness activities across strategic transformation programs and initiatives within Finance Capability Group. This role ensures that Finance functions, processes, and teams are prepared for change, enabling successful adoption and sustained performance improvements. The position partners with cross-functional stakeholders — including Data & Analytics, IT, other Capability Groups, and external partners—to drive readiness, manage risks, and deliver value across all relevant projects and initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate business-readiness activities for transformation programs, process changes, and technology implementations across the Finance Capability Group.

Develop and maintain business readiness roadmaps, project plans, and dashboards.

Assess organizational impact, identify readiness gaps, and design mitigation strategies.

Facilitate stakeholder engagement, change management, and communication plans.

Track progress, manage risks, and report status to CGL and Global Process Owner (GPO).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of program objectives.

Support process mapping, documentation, compliance checks, and business process harmonization efforts.

Prepare executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and reports for leadership.

Perform all activities safely and responsibly, and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed.

Accountability

Plans, directs, and is accountable for all activities and results of the Finance Capability Group related to business readiness.

Delivers assigned work on time and with accuracy, ensuring alignment with Capability Group objectives.

Maintains clear and timely communication with the CGL and GPO.

Contributes to process improvement and harmonization efforts, supporting the CGL’s accountability for transformation outcomes.
Relationship Focus

Builds cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships.

Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Data & Analytics, IT, other Capability Groups, and external partners.

Builds relationships with internal customers and subject matter experts.

Participates in formal and informal networks to support program objectives and stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-
Requires functional expertise and knowledge of Order-to-Cash, including commercial and credit-to-cash workstream business processes.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, global environment.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
-
Experience with business process harmonization & corporate performance management projects, and global-scale ERP implementations preferred.
-
Familiarity with legacy Oracle systems, SAP S4 HANA, SAP SD module, SAP RM (Receivable Management), SAP TRM (Treasury), SAP GTS, and Quantum is a plus.

Business-level English required, additional languages a plus.
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

10+ years of relevant experience in business operations, finance, project management, or transformation environments.

Demonstrated experience in leading business readiness or change management activities for large-scale projects.

This position may require occasional travel and flexible working hours to support global teams.
