Introduction

The Cloud Architect plays a pivotal role in designing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for our organization. Based in Singapore, the successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in cloud technologies to support digital transformation initiatives and ensure robust, cost-effective, and compliant cloud solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure

• Lead cloud architect for GF initiatives, including application modernization and data migration, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders—to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Work with Solution Delivery to solidify cloud governance frameworks, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance with local (Singapore) and international regulations.

• Stay current with cloud technology trends, evaluate new tools and services, and recommend improvements to enhance the organization's cloud strategy.

• Document architectural designs, workflows, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

• 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or related roles.

• Strong experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and associated services.

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.

• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud-native application design.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with Engineering and Manufacturing environments a plus
