Introduction:

We are searching for a global supply chain Strategist to join the Center of Excellence for Sourcing within the Materials and Indirect Procurement group in Global Supply Chain (GSC). This individual will be lead in developing and executing our supply chain and sourcing initiatives – such as sourcing strategy, Supplier Relationship Management, cost modeling, market intelligence, etc.

Your Job:

  • Conduct special projects for procurement strategy, including deep data collection, analysis, and insights development towards recommendations on optimizing procurement activities

  • Develop process and cadence for sourcing strategy, market research, and cost modeling

  • Perform activities related to new supplier search and development for the sourcing of equipment and services, including spare parts, strategic repairs and parts cleaning services

  • Help create and drive global strategy for various commodity areas, act as team lead/support for commodity to drive regional teams to achieve cost savings & ensure supply continuity goals

  • Create and maintain data templates and provide regular analysis into insights

  • Provide cost-benefit analyses on supply chain initiatives and opportunities

  • Perform market research on competitors, suppliers, and cost indices

  • Establish and program-manage key initiatives and progress across procurement teams, such as cost reduction target or cost reduction execution monitoring

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management or supply chain

  • 7+ years professional experience in corporate, consulting, and supply chain

  • Excellent writing, editing, oral communications, communications planning, issues and project management skills

  • Project management skills – i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity

  • Breaks complex problems into achievable parts and drives at solutions and approaches to derive tangible outcomes

  • Is proficient in data analytics: Excel spreadsheet modeling a requirement; advanced analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc) a definite asset.

  • Has high proficiency in data analysis and communications, e.g., Excel/Power

BI and PowerPoint:

  • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

  • Possesses innate sense of curiosity to sleuth at root causes and derive useful insights

  • Can communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner

  • Able to develop and maintain strong collaborative business relationships with stakeholders

  • Able to interact with all levels of the organization, and across diverse cultures

  • Performs independently in a dynamic, very fast-paced environment

  • Travel

  • Up to 10%

  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or MBA

  • 2+ years professional experience in semiconductor and/or advanced manufacturing sectors: broad expertise & knowledge of Semiconductor parts, OEM, and Non OEM equipment suppliers

  • Related professional certifications
