Job Description:
This role centers around the design and development of advanced in-house test chips (testsites) to explore and validate emerging semiconductor technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with R&D and Process Integration teams to define chip architecture, lead sub-teams through complete development cycles—from planning to tape-out—and engineer custom elements to extract critical electrical data. Additional responsibilities include processing customer designs into masks, conducting analytical tests to assess performance, developing automated test pattern solutions using advanced EDA coding, and providing technical guidance to peers. A strong understanding of test structures and macros is essential, along with a commitment to project success, safety protocols, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with R&D and Fab Process Integration & Module teams to define advanced test chips supporting new technology development.

Lead sub-teams in executing complete test chip development cycles, from planning to tape-out.

Possess strong understanding of test structures, and macros; provide technical guidance and support to engineering peers.

Drive innovation in test pattern creation and develop sophisticated EDA code for automated generation of test structures.

Ensure timely and successful execution of assigned projects.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field.
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in wafer fabrication or IC mask design environments.

Solid foundation in semiconductor physics and CMOS device architecture is essential.

Proficient in programming with a background in automation tools and methodologies
